FD11
The FiiO development team created the FD11 as a part of a new “Bionic Conch” series of products that aims to punch above its price class in both aesthetics and sound. High-end techniques were used to create the unique sense of flow that the FD11 radiate from their appearance, and innovative features such as the C-shaped acoustic flute elevate the sound quality to the next level by giving a truly “cohesive unified” sound.
How to make a choice between different versions?
Built-in decoding, easily gets HiFi quality With an independent DSP decoding chip
To create a simple, direct HiFi experience, the all-new FD11 TC is equipped with a DSP audio decoding chip, which supports up to 96kHz/24bit high-definition audio decoding, enabling easy handling of many streaming music formats without the need for additional devices. In addition, compared to traditional integrated audio SoCs found in smartphones and computers, the FD11 TC can route audio into the independent DSP chip via the Type-C digital channel, enabling independent audio decoding output for more thorough audio analysis, allowing you to listen to music in its original form and enhance sound quality.
Anytime, anywhere, plug and play Broad compatibility with mainstream systems
The FD11 TC features a Type-C digital port, compatible with iOS /Android /Win /Mac and other mainstream systems, allowing for plug-and-play functionality without the need for any additional setup.
For the FD11’s 10mm carbon-based dynamic driver, the development team chose to use the same materials as found in the high-end FH15 and FF5 IEMs, giving the FD11 a serious boost to its sound capabilities. The carbon-based material is ideal for the diaphragm – being lighter than aluminum, beryllium, and other materials while having a tensile strength nine times that of steel. The carbon-based diaphragm results in a highly-responsive and detailed driver that can easily handle quick transients with minimal distortion thanks to minimal breakup during driver movement.
The new FD11 employs second-generation asymmetric internal and external magnetic circuit systems. Through the use of finite element simulation, the FD11’s dual magnetic circuit design has been optimized to generate a stronger magnetic field compared to a typical dynamic driver’s single internal or single external magnetic circuit system. This results in a higher magnetic field density, allowing the diaphragm to be more powerfully driven for a more “robust” sound with better transient response.
Asymmetrical internal and external magnetic circuits analog simulation
Conventional external magnetic circuit analog simulation
The FD11 utilizes N52 neodymium magnets that give the earphone its 111dB/mW@1kHz sensitivity. In simulation tests compared to the typical dynamic driver’s single external magnetic circuit, the FD11’s dual asymmetric internal and external magnetic circuits not only feature higher magnetic density but also feature a wider magnetic field. This means that the FD11 handles highly dynamic audio with ease, and with lower distortion than what is typical in its class.
The rear of the FD11’s dynamic driver features a unique dual-layer cavity, allowing the development team to install damping control systems in both the inner and outer chambers to precisely control air flow – resulting in reducing distortion and allowing the diaphragm to move more freely without breakup. This results in both more detailed treble and especially more robust and more resolving bass, with the driver faithfully reproducing low-frequency details with astonishing speed.
Classy craftsmanship on display Liquid die-cast zinc alloy construction
Affordable price, high-end craftsmanship – this is what you get with the FD11. FiiO took the “conch” as its inspiration for the FD11 design. Zinc alloy is the material of choice for constructing the FD11 in order to give it a unique flowing appearance. This zinc alloy is die-cast into its shape, and then polished and electroplated to give it a high-end look and feel rarely seen in its class.
Compared to the FD1, the FD11 is completely made of high-end materials and techniques, making it stronger, more durable, and ultimately more ready to withstand daily usage. And thanks to the die-cast shape, the internal surface of the FD11 is slightly uneven, just enough to significantly reduce sound wave convergence, and minimize standing wave generation – all resulting in purer sound. The FD11 is an example of what can be done when beautiful aesthetics meets scientific HiFi engineering.
A C-shaped talent C-shaped acoustic flute
In addition to the new conch-like shape of the FD11, the C-shaped acoustic flute within the FD11 also serves t o notably enhance sound quality – this feature specifically focusing on the bass. When air moves through the internals of the FD11, the C-shaped acoustic flute helps to increase the viscosity of that air and reduces the resonance frequency, which helps to improve both mid-bass and sub-bass quality. What this means is now you can now clearly feel the cohesiveness and power behind the sound of drums being beat.
Tailor-made, For pure brilliance Fine-tuned frequency response
The development team has placed special care in making sure the dynamic driver produces a smooth, easy-to-listen sound thanks to continuous, science-driven efforts. Even though the FD11 features a single dynamic driver, that dynamic driver’s light carbon-based diaphragm not only allows it to handle bass frequencies with aplomb, the driver also is capable of producing sound with specially optimized emphases at certain points like 14kHz and 18kHz that allow it to clearly reproduce the details in your music. Compared to the FD11, there is less emphasis on the bass frequencies but more emphasis on realistic sounding vocals – for a more forward sound with a more apparent sense of space.

Triangular Ergonomic Design
We may start from the appearance, but we end up focusing on the tiny details. With the FD11, we continue our earnest efforts in innovating in both its appearance and how it feels to wear. The “conch-like” shape of the FD11 is specifically designed to optimize the contact area between the earphone and the human ear, forming a triangular support structure so that it remains securely in your ear no matter the situation.
0.78mm dual-pin detachable cable
The FD11 uses a 0.78mm dual-pin cable, allowing you to easily upgrade your listening experience later. The elbow-shaped headphone connector is also specially curved to make it both easier to use and more comfortable to wear.
Hi-Res Audio certified
The FD11 is Hi-Res Audio certified, as established by the Japan Audio Society (JAS) and Consumer Electronics Association (CEA). It is a testament to the FD11’s ability to accurately reproduce audio the way it was meant to be heard.
