Pure, clean sound "Bionic Conch"

[Pure rhythm, Dive into your music]

The FiiO development team created the FD11 and FH11 as a part of a new “Bionic Conch”series of products that aims to punch above its price class in both aesthetics and sound. High-end techniques were used to create the unique sense of flow that the FD11 and FH11 radiate from their appearance, and innovative features such as the C-shaped acoustic flute elevate the sound quality to the next level by giving a truly “cohesive unified”sound.

Sound styles:

FD11: Focus on dynamic driver timbre, with special attention on vocals, suitable for vocal-heavy, folk, ACG and other styles of music

FH11: Focus on detailed bass, with special attention on quality bass that immerse you into the music, suitable for rock, pop, and other styles of music.

Selling Points

Pristine sound, punching above its weight!

10mm carbon-based dynamic driver

In trying to create the ideal sounding dynamic driver, the development team immediately drew inspiration from the materials used on the high-end FH15 and FF5 IEMs, resulting in a 10mm carbon-based diaphragm dynamic driver. The material of the diaphragm is crucial to the sound of a dynamic driver, and the carbon-based material is ideal for the diaphragm – being lighter than aluminum, beryllium, and other materials while having a tensile strength nine times that of steel. The carbon-based diaphragm results in a highly-responsive and detailed driver that can easily handle quick transients with minimal distortion thanks to minimal breakup during driver movement.

Every last detail, faithfully reproduced Custom balanced armature driver

Handling the treble is a highly resolving, custom balanced armature driver specifically chosen to complement the sound traits of the carbon-based dynamic driver. Not only does this custom balanced armature driver provide clear sound, it also features just the right amount of warmth to give it a powerful sound, letting you more easily appreciate your music.

Conventional External Magnetic Horn

Your personal conductor Three chamber acoustic design

Well-designed hybrid IEMs combine the different drivers harmoniously and allow the advantages of each driver type to fully shine through. To achieve this, the rear of each FH11 unit is divided into three chambers, with a damping control system that ensures air pressure changes between the three chambers do not interfere with each other. This results in reduced distortion of each driver, and allows each driver to work more freely – resulting in better bass extension and responsiveness.

Classy craftsmanship on display Liquid die-cast zinc alloy construction

A new generation of sound comes with a new look. FiiO took the“conch”as its inspiration for the FH11 design. Zinc alloy is the material of choice for constructing the FH11 in order to give it a unique flowing appearance. This zinc alloy is die-cast into its shape, and then polished and electroplated to give it a high-end look and feel rarely seen in its class.

C-shape, a natural fit

C-shaped acoustic flute

In addition to the new conch-like shape of the FH11, the C-shaped acoustic flute within the FH11 also serves to notably enhance sound quality – this feature specifically focuses on the bass. When air moves through the internals of the FH11, the C-shaped acoustic flute helps to increase the viscosity of that air and reduces the resonance frequency, which helps to improve both mid-bass and sub-bass quality. What this means is now you can clearly feel the cohesiveness and power behind the sound of drums beating.

Tailor-made, for smooth listening Fine-tuned frequency response

Some may be worried about the cohesiveness between the balanced armature and dynamic drivers in the FH11. However, the development team has placed special care in making sure the drivers together produce a smooth, easy-to-listen sound thanks to continuous efforts. The carbon-based dynamic driver provides robust bass that gives the music an impressive sense of atmosphere. High frequencies are handled by a custom balanced armature driver with specially optimized emphases at certain points like 14kHz and 18kHz that allow one to clearly experience the brilliance of instruments like the flute and cymbals.

Triangular

ergonomic Design

We may start from the appearance, but we end up focusing on the tiny details. With the FH11, we continue our earnest efforts in innovating in both its appearance and how it feels to wear. The“conch-like”shape of the FH11 is specifically designed to optimize the contact area between the earphone and the human ear, forming a triangular support structure so that it remains securely in your ear no matter the situation.

0.78mm 2-pin detachable cable

The FH11 uses a 0.78mm 2-pin cable, allowing you to easily upgrade your listening experience later. The elbow-shaped headphone connector is also specially curved to make it both easier to use and more comfortable to wear.

Hi-Res Audio certified

The FH11 is Hi-Res Audio certified, as established by the Japan Audio Society (JAS) and Consumer Electronics Association (CEA). It is a testament to the FH11’s ability to  accurately reproduce audio the way it was meant to be heard.
